AyeDubbleYoo
Foden going to Chelsea would be disastrous though. I think it’s a bit early to say he won’t play for Man City, he could easily start this weekend.

I think it’s hard to say, they’re in a transitional phase even if Kane had stayed. Could be that it ends up OK if they stick to their plan and use the money wisely. Think he is too much of a maverick for Pep and Southgate... Always asking for the ball and creating movement. Tiresias
Are Brighton breaking their model a bit signing someone nurtured elsewhere without the profit margin available? Although both are good players. Maybe they have some targets in mind for next year or the year after, and they’re filling some gaps until then. Dunno. Saying that, they have bought PL experience before with the likes of Ake and Stones and it worked out well.

wormy
I do hope he goes but I get what Carragher is saying to an extent. Depends on the club you're having trophy success with as to what trumps the other. I know it's Bayern Munich and all thay but surely the closed shop of the Bundesliga title would feel pretty hollow? I stand corrected if they make a Champions League run ofc.

If you want to win trophies before you hang your boots up why go somewhere not as guaranteed? German league is probably the most prestigious of the guaranteed options and also with Tuchel surely they must fancy their chances for the ECL this season. AJ9
Dead class from these pundits who have won trophies to tell a guy that’s never experienced that not to bother going to a club to win something because they would be null and void. Arseholes. Honestly the arrogance is insane, I’d kind of want him to win the CL with Bayern if he went. Edited August 10, 2023 by AJ9
