Absolutely insane, casually spending 40+25 million on a teenager. That’s more than what Madrid paid for Endrick

Is this a 25 year contract? To allow them to spend another 300m this window?

They are but hopefully think that *checks notes* Enzo Maresca can get the best out of him more so than Emery can.

Wow, hopefully they go ahead with it.

Would love to see that go bad for them.

Duran is going to be balls deep in sluts and bugle on what Chewsee will put him on. He’ll be more off the rails than the Hatfield train crash.

Ha ha ha, just choked at Hatfield mention, bravo.

It is bewildering how anyone is supposed to break the established order when they're not allowed to spend the money they have freely available, and are forced to sell players against their will, whilst some clubs just seem to be able to spend any sum they want, on a near weekly basis in some cases.

The crazy thing I don’t get about FFP is some clubs like Man Utd are allowed to be billions of dollars in debt, yet that’s ok. If you’re looking to ensure financially healthy football clubs, how can debt not count as part of it.

Effecitvely handicapping the chasing pack instead of the established elite of the day, and they've the nerve to cite 'competitiveness'

How are Chelsea affording all these signings? Are they banking on being able to sell a load of their deadwood? In fairness they probably will

PIF will probably sort them out again with inflated fees to Saudi clubs, while we'll probably sell Almiron to them for about £20m.

Other than Fabinho, did PIF buy many Premier League players for inflated fees? Can't remember too many, but then I can barely remember yesterday.

Mahrez and Laporte probably but not wild.

Fucking Chelsea managed to get decent fees for Koulibaly and Mendy, despite both being shite

Taking massive wages off their payroll as well. They should’ve been stuck with those players.

They looked about par to me.

I think they'd have struggled to sell to any non Saudi clubs mind due to the wages. Same problem Man U with have with Casemiro.

How dare Everton be “not willing to negotiate” an offer amounting to less than half of what they’re asking for one of their best players. Man U taking the high road to some other defender.

Chelsea hoarding players again - ridiculous

If you want them to negotiate you need to make an offer that gets them interested. They’re such a weird club. Everything they do is so public as well, and I bet it’s coming from Rattledcliffe, he thinks he’s using the media to his advantage.

Why do Man United brief reporters like they're doing the selling club a favour?

So true, it’s utterly ridiculous. Telegraph says now they have no intention of going near the £70m Everton want. Saying Man U offered £35m + £8m add ons.

I don't think any team in Europe buys Koulibaly due to his £300k a week wage, certainly a bullet dodged thanks to Saudi-Arabia.

Why wouldn’t you?

Marketing and PR is far more powerful than most people think it is.

Disgusting that! Should take it to arbitration.
