That's debatable. Bradley Barcola was around £40M and I would say he's better than Garnacho currently.

Barcola had a €45m release clause.

Worth far more than that.

I don't think many clubs are going to be spending £50m on potential these days unless they feel that the potential is elite level.

City can and will

Mostly because the players we need to sell, are shit (in context).

Agreed but like Almiron we could have had him off the books in the summer for not much less or more than we are getting for him now.

we only sold Anderson because we agreed to take a player in a position we didn’t even need to strengthen.

Trippier could have went to Bayern. Now he barely plays and we’ll get next to nothing for him

Should realistically cashed in on Wilson way before now and now we’ll get next to nothing for him.

it’s all well and good not wanting to sell our big players but we have to be better at selling players that are starting to decline. We hold on to them and end up stuck with them

Granted the Anderson transfer, wether pumped with the Greek or not, was forced on the club. I don't think Eddie's stopped mentioning him every presser.

The rest of that post is largely, and not just your own opinion granted, totally hypothetical.

Miggy could've gone to Saudi, apparently, but didn't want to. That's not his fault. No one else knocked on the door loud enough.

Wilson? When do you think we should've sold him and, again, who was in for him?

Trippier is still a very very good player. Again, granted, he could've gone if the Bayern approach was realistic but chose not to? If that was the case? Regardless of that, if we lose Tino who plays RB? Murphy? Who plays RW? Miggy?

Ashley's stagnation and micey contractual ideology has left us with a bunch of players that NOBODY wants at a time when the markets are dead. A bunch of players who have, since Howe and fleetingly under Rafa, proved they can play PL top half football, at that.

We need to be better at alot of things but selling players nobody is lining up for is a tall order.

Is this Marmoush any good?

I've never seen him play but I feel he's got flop written all over him just based on his career so far and the club he's joining

It's not easy selling ice to eskimoes.

Miggy could have went to Charlotte FC in the summer. It’s reported that we turned down not much less than what’s offered now.

Wilson..oh probably about 3 injuries ago. There were rumours of clubs interested and I’m sure there would have been

yes Trippier is still a good player but he’s on the decline and this is my point we can’t keep everyone until there are worth nothing.

again you say Ashley has left us with players nobody wants but we turned down a bid from Charlotte FC for Almiron and we turned down bids from Bayern for Trippier and Also a Saudi club want Dubravka

Mam City splashing some cash on young players.

Anyone foresee a punishment for the 100+ charges being a fine (easy payable) transfer ban (tipped off so buy now) and suspended points deduction ?

Absolutely. Looks like they’re actively preparing by bringing forward all their transfer business for the next few years.
