Carragher wondering if TAA is going to Madrid to "boost his brand". Why can't they just get over the fact there's a way more glamarous and successful club than them?

Dunfermline have signed Victor Wanyama.

Its only for 7 games (8 if we end up in the relegation play-off final) but still a huge deal for a team of our size (I'm Scottish and they're my Scottish team). Don't even know if he's fit. We've had a dreadful season and the players look to have downed tools as a lot of them are out of contract at the end of the season (you'd think they'd want to play out of their skins to either win a new contract or put themselves in the shop window). It baffles me how stupid some players are, they're only gonna end up at an even lower league club or without a club at all.

Avoiding relegation is still technically in our own hands though and my hope is that Neil Lennon and Wanyama will instill some much needed confidence into our relatively young squad, and give a kick up the arse to the lazy f*ckers that clearly aren't trying very hard. Our new owners clearly ain't messing about.

Ps fun fact, we almost signed Maradona jr many years ago, the deal fell through due to him wanting to keep his image rights. He was shite anyway, but he would have raised our profile. Our new owners also have a small stake in second tier Spanish side Cordoba who have one of Zinedine Zidane's kids playing for them. I'm hoping we get him on loan at some point just for the cool factor (and he'd sell shirts).

Sent off (straight red) 15 minutes after coming on as a sub.

Ps I've just realised the quote doesn't include the name Victor Wanyama.

Madrid deliberately and publicly moved away from signing older players for big fees years ago, no way Madrid bid 90m for a 31 year old. Some of the papers publish any old shite

Don't got much sympathy for morons that simply can't shut up to the press. Don't want characters like that here. We all know like, but show some professionalism and keep it in house.

Funny thing about Cunha is before Wolves he was mostly a bench and squad player at Atletico Madrid.

Wolves have done him a big favour giving him the platform to show more of his game and better his reputation as a player.

Makes his carrying on even more distasteful.

Agree to an extent but he’s outgrown Wolves now. Wolves have done him a favour but I think he’s returned that favour numerous times.

Yeah but no need to be mouthing off about it.

The window isn't even open yet, and I doubt Wolves are going to be awkward about him leaving.

Guy needs to calm down.

Mid season it’s bad practise. I thought the whole point of having an agent was that instead of doing this you send them a text saying ‘get me outa here’ and the agent does all this for you in the background so you dont get a load of grief.

If it’s summer and the club are rejecting offers then players do use their power a bit, but in March it’s daft.
