southernmag Posted Thursday at 11:52 Share Posted Thursday at 11:52 Would rather an ancient Vardy than an immobile Wilson tbf.
Optimistic Nut Posted Thursday at 12:50 Share Posted Thursday at 12:50 Felt sorry for him against us. Had nothing around him to give him any service. Get him on our bench, last 15 minutes of games the old Barnes/Vardy combo could still do a job I reckon. Still got a decent goals return this season despite the shite he's been surrounded by. Please dont suggest this ever again.
Turnbull2000 Posted Thursday at 13:45 Share Posted Thursday at 13:45 (edited) Just dissolve a couple of extra caffeine strips in his Red Bull and Vardy would be an excellent 75th minute sub. Gotta be creative when we're on a tight budget. Edited Thursday at 13:47 by Turnbull2000
The Butcher Posted Thursday at 14:07 Share Posted Thursday at 14:07 Vardy's one very few proper characters left in the game. That eagle celebration at Palace is different class. The absolute goat WUM. Fantastic striker on his day as well.

Sibierski Posted Thursday at 15:49 Share Posted Thursday at 15:49 Old so may been covered before, but we really were done dirty for ASM
AyeDubbleYoo Posted Thursday at 15:50 Share Posted Thursday at 15:50 Surely they could get kudus for much less than that?

alexf Posted Thursday at 15:52 Share Posted Thursday at 15:52 (edited) Said this before and will say it again...why would Saudi clubs need to bid above valuation for a player? Paying the players more in wages I understand but there's no reason £50m players suddenly jump to £100m unless it's a dodgy transaction. On the other hand, there's zero for a Saudi club to gain from giving money to a PL club, as far as i can tell.... unless it was an affiliate. The only thing I can think is that by overpaying, they are getting deals done quicker and is effectively knocking any would be suitors out of the water. For example, if we were interested in Kudus, we'd quickly move on if we thought a Saudi club was bidding that amount.

Fak Posted yesterday at 10:27 Share Posted yesterday at 10:27 Not sure if Globo are reliable or not, but they're saying Cunha to Man Utd deal is close. He's way too good for them man.
