Given the FA are wanting a lifetime ban, and that'll be all over the Europe at the least, I'd imagine it takes time as lawyers makes sure their ducks in a row etc

Hearing was adjourned at the start of this month as they were unable to reach a conclusion. We likely won’t hear anything until June at the earliest.

Meh, Martinez and Bailey will have suitors elsewhere, both being decent players.

 

Can also see why Martinez would be a useful additional to their domestic league. But it's not like it's PIF selecting the targets, they're just the money men.

Yeah maybe but not at the kind of fees the Saudis will be paying. 

 

Martinez is 32 and Bailey is coming off a less than stellar season and been pretty inconsistent his whole career. 

 

That being said it's obviously not something within my control so not going to get worked up about it

ASM should have gone for 50m. We underplayed it big time because we didn’t want the attention it would bring. He’s the entertaining type of player he had plenty of time on his contract and was doing well here. We don’t have anyone else in that B/C tier that the Saudis would want. Unless it’s one of the goalkeepers, because the rest of ours are English and unsexy

 

willock would be a good fit in Saudi but can’t see him wanting to go and not a big enough name. Neither is Murphy or Barnes. Or Longstaff or Targett or anyone we actually don’t mind getting rid of.
