It's the benefit of being a cartel member. If we're being honest we aren't players first choice so we have to fight for scraps.

For budget reasons yes, but it won't be a factor when it comes to attracting players imo.

Bigger issue is when VVD and Salah hit the wall. Those are generational players with few downsides. 
 

As great as Trent was. He has massive downsides. 
 

Similar to KDB at City.  KDBs the man. There’s not been this level of ‘man’ at attacking midfield in the PL since Gerrard.  And KDB is a better team player than him.
