It kinda has to be for us. It's 2 years of doing nothing for us.

Aye, not just is though, it seems like pretty much every club is gearing up for a huge window. Really looking forward to it.

Aye it looks like it, but that's kinda bad for us as everyone wants the same profile if player pushing prices even higher.

Mitchell will be earning his wage this summer that's for sure.

He’s had 18 months to get ready for it. No excuses really (I don’t expect him to be able to plug every gap in the squad).

It's a girl from America who wrote that article. We all know girls and Americans know absolutely nothing about football. Right @Mike?

The girl from America's opinion is shared by the guy from America who used to work on transfer plans for Premier League and Champions League clubs though tbf. I think Cunha is an excellent player personally, just pointing out that there are people who supposedly know what they're talking about who are saying it's not the slam dunk transfer that most people assume it will be

This window is going to be mental isn’t it?

Man City and Chelsea are going to the Club World Cup, alongside others in Europe. That’s why we have the 10 day transfer window. I fully expect deals to be made quicker as clubs who have sold to the bigger clubs ahead of the CWC will need to replace their players etc. The merry go round will start sooner rather than later this time.

I feel like Ekitike is a guaranteed flop for Chelsea. I also feel sure earlier today I'd read they were favorite for Delap.

If they sign both, who'd be up for signing Jackson?

Not me, he's a terrible finisher

You're right, but he's also a good player. As cover for Isak he'd be great.

Obviously never happening anyway.

He'd probably cost a bomb because of their daft contracts, too

I don’t fully understand why players always agree terms there so easily. Haven’t they completely changed their wage structure to offer a low base salary with huge incentives that are dependent on them getting a lot of game time?

Think it's still a big increase to what he made at Frankfurt even if they offer him around ~100-120k a week which would seem reasonable.

Chelsea just sign a load of expensive players, no thought or strategy put into it. Why do players go there ffs?

Was reading how Disasi hasn’t even been able to get into Villa’s squad the last couple of games. Delighted we didn’t get him last summer when he was linked.
