Ikon Posted Monday at 08:34 Share Posted Monday at 08:34 Don’t want Gittens anyway. Yes it’s annoying how Chelsea keep buying every winger and other players left, right and centre. Having said this, it’s also one of the reasons why they aren’t performing at the level they should. Along with no experienced players. At least something positive about them being annoying I guess. Sibierski Posted Monday at 08:45 Share Posted Monday at 08:45 All for it, if it means Madueke they’re happy to sell for like £30m

Every time I see a discussion about him Dortmund fans seem to say he's way overhyped (probably cos he's English). If that is true then I'm glad we're not in for every randomly hyped player. Jesse Pinkman Posted Monday at 09:28 Share Posted Monday at 09:28 (edited) Madueke is not much of an improvement on Murphy. We need a purple at RW not and England B team player Edited Monday at 09:29 by Jesse Pinkman

Playing in a team with less talent around him. Madueke looks great taking players on, but is prone to making a mess of his final ball or shot. KingArthur Posted Monday at 09:37 Share Posted Monday at 09:37 Madueke is someone who can actually beat a man 1v1. Elanga is a speed merchant. But I would like neither to be honest.

Better team yes, but we don't need a player who is mostly a counterattacking threat. At least for at the price Forest are asking.

That doesn't mean that is all Elanga is good for. I trust Elanga far more to deliver a decent ball or finish a chance in the final third. Madueke can often be quite rash and snatches at things in similar circumstances.
ponsaelius Posted Monday at 09:49 Share Posted Monday at 09:49 (edited) If Elanga had been signed from the Eredivisie direct to Forest, and Madueke was a Man Utd youth product that had been pied off, the opinions on them would be completely reversed. Elanga is not only faster he has better final ball and that is reflected in the creative output. If you take away Madueke's early season hat trick against Wolves he has done almost nothing in the PL this season really. I think Chelsea would swap them in an instant if offered. Would Forest? Super Duper Branko Strupar Posted Monday at 09:51 Share Posted Monday at 09:51 (edited) 3 of Madueke's 7 goals came in their 2nd game in a win against an awful Wolves, he's done little to nothing since. He's weak, rash, and lacks quality whenever I've seen him. Hard pass. Edited Monday at 09:51 by Super Duper Branko Strupar
gbandit Posted Monday at 09:53 Share Posted Monday at 09:53 Elanga’s crossing is exceptionally good. Match that with his pace and his age and he strikes me as really underrated

gbandit Posted Monday at 09:56 Share Posted Monday at 09:56 Wolves are going to need to do some good business in this window bringing in players as they’re the only club that feels like they could have any risk of relegation
