Personally think he’d be massive step up from what they’re used to

Yeah I just meant in terms of his age and profile

He's not really involved in transfers anymore. De Ligt and Mazraoui are purely coincidental.

They do make sense mind.

There is nothing coincidental with multiple Ajax players who played under him signing for him again at Man United. He may be not be "involved" but he's bloody well involved.

Can’t help but think Smith-Rowe would have done well for us under Howe. Seems like an ok price for him too

Poor injury record, glad we stayed clear. (Good player when fit though)

To be fair he does seem like he could be a Chelsea signing on the surface, a devalued ‘name’ type signing. Think Joao Felix.

They’re properly touting him round everyone . Supposedly they contacted us because we’ve been interested in the past. Can’t see us going for him now unless all our other options fail and he’s cheap.

Think he's signed to play left back. Arteta going for the Pep lite four CBs thing.

Aye. There's nothing original about that Lego cunt. All about being the Pep pastiche.

Not athletic enough for our midfield. Not a Howe midfielder for that reason. Also not an Arteta midfielder for that reason.

Had Fulham, Palace or West Ham written all over him.

Have we discussed Varane to Cumo on a free from Man U? He only cost them £41m including add-ons.

Best centre back we've had since Vidic. A Rolls Royce of a defender. Too injury prone though and good to get the massive wages off the books as he's aging.

Funny enough, it was £34m we paid initially, which was an absolute bargain. The £7m in add ons were success based and we only activated some of them over the last 18 months. Worth it.
