I agree. They have, according to many of their fans, the best squad in the Prem, probably one of the best in Europe. They also have their best post war manager in Ten Hag.

They're a bit of a myth these days, very much like Arsenal were in Wenger's final years. Big club, yes. Title contenders, absolutely not. I bet it absolutely kills a lot of them when they reflect on where they once were.

I havent seen him play all that much outside of the Euros, but is West Ham paying 27m and offering a 4 year contract to Fullkrug, who'll be 32 in February a bit mad.

Replacing Kane with Solanke is some downgrade. I like Solanke, but that was more as a backup / Chris Wood type rather than ever being our main man.

Solanke is a typical Spurs signing , good player but a few levels below elite .

He feels like their only viable target as a marquee striker signing though.

 

People seem off put by Toneys attitude and someone like Osimhen is too expensive. Most other options are a bigger gamble than Solanke.

I think everyone completely understands the hatred that was born out of jealousy.

 

It's the modern day agenda that we're bottom half plodders with an incompetent manager now that is a bit weird, especially after we've just won our second trophy in as many seasons despite having more injuries than anyone else over said seasons.
