Imagine if Sunderland, Leeds and Boro get promoted

Imagine how quick they go down due to financial and fair play crap, teams getting promoted haven't an earthly of staying up without funding

Or taking the PSR points hit the next year like Forest.

Duran to Saudi for £100 million

If a PIF owned club once again bails out a direct rival by overpaying for a player that helps that club, then they need to fuck off :D

Going to be owned by blood money, need some positives to it.

Agreed but like Almiron we could have had him off the books in the summer for not much less or more than we are getting for him now.

we only sold Anderson because we agreed to take a player in a position we didn’t even need to strengthen.

Trippier could have went to Bayern. Now he barely plays and we’ll get next to nothing for him

Should realistically cashed in on Wilson way before now and now we’ll get next to nothing for him.

it’s all well and good not wanting to sell our big players but we have to be better at selling players that are starting to decline. We hold on to them and end up stuck with them

This. We have to be more like Bill Belichik of the Patriots in the NFL. He was famous for being ruthless and getting rid of players a year too early, but it was massively better to miss a year than be stuck with dead weight for 3+ years.

That’s the type of move that can solidify Villa’s run at the top 6. I’d back Emery and Monchi to use that well.

Means those arseholes at PSG will still be sniffing for another striker.

Link is broken. Is it Brobbey?

Going to be very interesting to see how he gets on.

Going to have some good players around him and Potter's football is good.

Might end up working out well for West Ham. At least they've finally gone for a younger striker, and it's just a loan initially.

Would make zero sense that. First he's not worth that much, I can understand Saudi teams needing to pay more in wages to entice players to that league but why do they need to pay over the odds transfer fees? Was the same with the talk of Casimiro going for like £40m, why?

2nd, he's not a household name by any means, not yet anyway. So hardly gonna get viewers around the globe thinking they must tune in to the Saudi league so they can watch Jhon Duran play.

So hopefully it's bullshit as Villa are already far more efficient than we are off the pitch with their PSR manoeuvres, already benefitted massively from that inflated Grealish fee in the past and would put daylight between us and them if they had another £100m to use to flesh out their squad while we seemingly can't spend a penny.

Aye that’s him.
