The Butcher
Be funny as fuck if Arsenal spend loads on Havertz when they need a proper goalscorer.

I can remember a majority on here waxing lyrical about their signings last summer and going on about how much better their attacking players were than ours last season as well. They’re going to get a lot of money for Rice but once again they’ll need to spend it a lot better than they did on attacking players last summer. They’ve still got those Europa League games as well, they’ll be lucky to finish top half in my opinion.
AyeDubbleYoo
It’s not like people are buying chelsea players as charity. Their squad is full of good players who have massively underperformed under a comedy management structure.

Zouma and Aguerd is a good pairing, get 3-4 quality players and striker to accompany Bowen and Paqueta and they'll be dangerous. Back in Europe again though, which was meant to be the reason for the failings this season, and is also meant to be why we struggle for top 4 again. Moyes still in charge, I'm not expecting much. KDT
I doubt they’re paying a great fee for the Chelsea players, it’ll be a case of getting their salaries off the books.

Did a search based on your comment, didn’t know PIF invested in Clearlake Capital but in all honesty because it’s portfolio of assets so would be hard to argue that PIF had any controlling interest in Chelsea. nufc123
This Saudi spending will soon be a problem. I know they own us , but with sponsors fair market value, what if the Saudis buy Casemiro and Kane for 200m each then its becoming a problem. Will they then put up a transfer fair market value ? Rafalove
Saudi’s are offering a lot more money than China. They seem a lot more determined. Not just with football but with many different sports. There’s a real possibility it will become an actual super league. They have a population that are far more interested in football too. The thing these leagues that attempt to pile money in to attract interest fundamentally misunderstand is that it's the teams and their history that are of interest, not the players. That's why Liverpool retained a massive global interest even when they were shite for 15 years. Neves will vanish and be back in Europe within 18 months, a lot richer but with his career damaged.
