Candi_Hills
I don't know like, we live in a world where that loveable Jimmy Bullard got called up to the England squad by the hugely successful Fabio Capello and he spent the week shouting POSTMAN PAT in his face for a laugh. Stupid f***er. When Kieron Dyer was playing for England U21s they were playing in some tournament in HongKong or somewhere. Whilst out the p*ss the players took it in turns to s*** in a carrier bag and then they hung it on the gaffa's door when they got back to the hotel. Just for a laugh like, not because they had owt against him.
Yorkie
Based on very little I reckon Mitrovic was probably a bit insubordinate with Rafa, hence him never really being used despite the deficiencies of the other options.
Ben
Right thats it Rafa enoughs enough get in there and sort this shit out, we'll reassess the situation in the summer.
Kanj
We’d be top 7 this season if Rafa was still here and was given the same money Bruce was given. No doubt about it.
Abra Dubravka
Listened to Pod on the Tyne podcast earlier, Caulkin plays a recording from an interview with Rafa before Christmas. Says that in his final meeting with club before leaving it was made clear that there was no investment to be made in training ground and academy, and just signalled end of the road for him with us. Speaks to the class of him that his greatest motivation here was building a legacy and foundation to build from, not just a contract size or transfer budgets. Beyond frustration to think club wouldn’t bother investing back into the club, but probably not days later signing off on £50M+ being spent of transfers/contracts for Joelinton, Andy Carroll, and Krath. Kanj
It’s negligent. It’s the club’s own money. He wasn’t asking for MA to pour over and above.

AyeDubbleYoo
I was telling everyone it was total shit and he'd never come. Couldn't believe it when that footage of his arrival came on. Luv u Rafa
nufcjb
The first few pages of his original thread was epic the best period in recent times. Sorry. I can't support my club anymore when it is being managed by Steve Bruce. I'm done as long as he stays here. Would be an absolute dream if Rafa ever came back. Guest
The immense pride and belief he generated when here was incredible. I genuinely thought with a bit of backing a trophy was coming in future. Sickening that we threw that away.

Just spent 15 minutes or so reading through pages from there. So that’s what collective hope looks like? Everyone desperately trying to keep a lid on their expectations in their own way while increasingly losing the plot every 10 or so pages. What a completely different time to be a fan. That’s what I want to feel again. Fuck it if we still get relegated, we all know we’re going down this season and are in wilful denial of we don’t admit it. Sack Bruce and replace him with anyone with a bit positivity so we can all feel this again.
