Paully
Righto. As if there would ever be any sort of planning. Don't these journalists even think these things through before publishing? Don’t forget, the KING was lined up ages before he was installed........
Dokko
I just might kill myself if Brendan Rodgers becomes NUFC manager. End of days. He got Liverpool closer to winning the league than Rafa or even free spending Klopp. It wouldn’t be the end of the world, far from it and probably my first realistic choice should Rafa go. summerof69
I would go for that Paco jamez fella vi used to tout back up n the psrdew days. But aye could defo do worse than Brendan

Disco
Sickening that free spending Klopp hasn’t won the league this season yet. Unless you’re referring to the last two seasons where Liverpool made a net income gain?
Dave
suarez made rodgers, there's no getting around it Aye there's a slight discrepancy between the calibre of players he had available there and what he could possibly have here like.

Ketsbaia
Always liked Rodgers tbh, despite the envelope skit. Or because of it, who knows.

This ^ oh for sure, but i also meant it in terms of his own competence...as swansea manager he did a great job and their football was lush but they were very toothless and often devoid of ideas in the final third, suarez basically transformed that approach into having a lethal attack as well and it was great for a while if he came to us we'd be a poorer version of his swansea team most likely and struggle along accordingly
NG32
Maybe Ashley has advice to lance the wart, absorb the reaction and just contune by appointing a new manager in the hope fans wont want to hassle a new manager in a relegation struggle. Then again thats way too much planning.
triggs
If Rafa was to leave I think Brendan Rodgers is the best we could hope for under this regime
Tubestationatmidnight
Brentan apparently lined up FFS https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/brendan-rodgers-lined-up-newcastle-13408546.amp?__twitter_impression=true I said that weeks ago too. I can definitely see it. Think he would do as well as anyone could under Ashley as well. Can see him coming here next summer if we win our big battle for 17th
AyeDubbleYoo
Seems a big career step down to come here. He’ll never be able to do anything under Ashley, don’t see the point. He seems like someone who rates himself.
Robster
The amount of negative publicity around Ashley over the last few months must surely have put off anyone who would be even remotely classed as decent or ambitious. I definitely think we'll be looking at someone like Curbishley or Sanchez. The motive for wanting to be the next NUFC has to be questioned.
St1pe
Feels like it would be the last straw for me if they removed Rafa after completely shafting him this summer.

toon25
For some reason I think he’s gna be sacked. The fat cunt will see it as killing two birds with one stone - shutting up the protests by removing the figure around which I they’re uniting and having the perfect excuse to do so with results not going our way. George Bailey
Fat Sam or the return of the King are most likely outcomes for me. Each option as ghastly and malicious as the other.
