Aye we fought back from 2-0 down to get a point, very good, but we really didn't look like we were in any hurry to try and win it all at the end. It was like both teams were holding on at the end. Two shit teams, out-shitting each other.

Why the fuck do we suddenly play good attacking football when we go behind, why the fuck can't we do it from the start. So frustrating.

It's a lot easier to play flowing football when you think you've already lost. No pressure.

Confidence innit. Grabbed a goal out of nothing and suddenly you're up again. Not how it should work but football is about the most confidence-based sport on the planet.

Why do we gain confidence when we go behind though, we're so confusing as a team like

Yep. Happens time and time again.

Confidence must be in tatters recently, maybe this will be a bit of a boost.

We only really gained confidence after the first goal.

On Saturday the subs were pointless. Today they made a massive difference. The team at the end there; Aarons, Mitrovic, Shelvey and Merino together in the midfield had lush flow and we were unlucky not to win it. Good point given the circumstances. Get Lascelles back asap and we'll be canny.

Start with Shelvey and Mitro and we shouldve walked it

Don't think it's as simple as that. Shelvey in particular had good reasons for being dropped.

He was alongside Diame like. I don't think he's done a great deal wrong recently and remains our most dangerous player in open play imo.

He needs a good partner like.

I still maintain we have a decent team when everyone is available and not mentally shot. Obviously those are big ifs.

Well i'm kinda basing on a few games this season, we come on strong and seem to play better when it gets desperate. Granted to oppo are probably sitting back like.

You cant leave Shelvey out of the team again, he looked our best player when he came on. Chancel was miles better at left back than Manquillo.  And Mitro is much better than Joselu.

The second half side with subs on was better, but probably  Murphy not Aarons.
