Maja, who apparently was daft to leave for Bordeaux because he wouldn’t get games at this stage in his career at that level, making his 7th appearance and just scored his first Ligue 1 goal.

Just need Pompey to match the mackems results, along with a +3 goal swing.  It's doable!

Course it is but don't worry because the mackems will lose their next 2 games. Pompey will go up in 2nd place. Then mackems lose to Charlton in the PO final

Great end to the season

Luque, Boumsong, Guivarc’h, Marcelino and Andersson are way above Muto tbf.  Considering how little £10m is these days in the grand scheme of things.

Absolutely and add to the fact that Sunderlands terrible transfer record has them sitting in the third tier of English football with no saleable assets proves that for every Muto they have 10 Rodwells

Again for the "n"th consecutive year they will be the English club with the most empty seats over a season.

As they watch on from the  third division it really hurts them that our stadium is full week after week, with a world class manager who the fans love.

Mackem logic therefore has to take over to console their sad selves. So they repeat the same nonsense over and over again until in their warped and simple minds it becomes Wearside fact.

The latest nonsense they are regurgitating is about Almiron, who almost everyone outside of Wearside realises is a stunning talent and has been the major factor in Newcastle's improved performances since he arrived, while they continue to depend on 60k a week Catts to bother his arse in one game in five.

They're more to be pitied than scorned.

This will be the 62nd time we've finished above them in the league ladder since joining the Football League. They've been higher than us 55 times.

Fuuny as fuck their desperation to see Almiron be a shit buy ??

Wijnaldum and Mitrovic a waste of money? Ok.

How much profit did we make on both of them? If doubling your money is wasting it, I'd love to waste mine every week. Bunch of weirdos.

When will people realise that no one gives a fuck about NUFC on here?

Lose and the're fucked I reckon. Draw or win and theyll beat Pompey to go up.

Pompey are pretty good at set pieces mind, these fall apart with a bit of pressure. They should win easy  today but next week is the decider for them unless Barnsley win anarl.

Funny watching them struggle to get out of a piss poor 3rd division.

Four league games to go three of which are away. Still think they'll sneak second place but whichever way you look at it the embarrassment continues for this lot. We'd, quite rightly, get pelters if we were in their position and didn't walk away with the 3rd division title. The Premier League title fight, Champions League, Championship and these still worrying about where they'll be struggling next season makes football terrific viewing in these coming weeks.

Some highlights

If the scum are worth £300 million

We're easy worth £500 million

I wouldnt be surprised if this is true at all, We have to be the most attractive club in world football to buy at the minute

This is a seriously unhealthy level of delusion
