Fugazi
Surprised seeing Ronaldo getting applauded for sportsmanship and it getting called a beautiful moment helping cavani off the pitch. It looked to me like he span him 90 degrees to walk him off behind the goal and started rushing him off. Only aim was to get him off the pitch quicker If Portugal were winning at the time he wouldn't have been so "helpful".
Cronky
Suarez had a good game yesterday, often making do with scraps in a difficult, solitary role. For me, he's the second best player in the world, not Ronaldo.

The College Dropout
Isco is much more direct for Spain than he is for Madrid. I'm not his biggest fan in a Madrid shirt, always slowing things down. I prefer watching Asensio or James. But for Spain he's a delight.

STM
Croatia or Denmark today? Obviously we expect Spain to win.
Infinitely Content
Would be surprised to see anything other than Spain & Croatia advancing. The two most impressive teams in the tournament so far imo. Spain playing the best football by a distance and Croatia just look a really solid team back to front.

Beren
Spain's defence has been abysmal, could be a closer game than people think IMO. Croatia will glide through.
Mole_Toonfan
Much more balanced team then, not that it matters against Russia as they'll win regardless.
ponsaelius
Russia dropping Cheryshev and reverting to the 3-5-2 from before the tournament that seen them so roundly criticised seems a terrible move.

ponsaelius
With Dzagoev back as well we could have seen them play a really interesting line-up. Instead they've gone back into their shell. Shame as I was quite looking forward to this game.
