Like I said before, I'd have him as my starting left attacker for the next two, three, maybe four seasons. Worst thing to happen is if people get on his back because he doesn't score or assist. That's one part of his game, there's much more. He's a constant menace Sub at the least. He sets the tone for much of our press. I'd like us to have another top-quality RW to challenge/rotate, ala Barnes & Gordon.

gbandit
Just love the tracking back work he does, seeing him pop up absolutely anywhere on the pitch dispossessing people is a joy to watch. Other teams must hate him like they hate Joelinton

AyeDubbleYoo
In my continuing pro-Miggy campaign I would just like to say he was great yesterday. Provides so much energy and drive, love the lad.
Newcastle Fan
It was so obvious since last season that he's one of the main players we need to upgrade from going forward, yet we spent our window buying players in other positions and then having to play a right back to replace him while chasing the game at the Ettihad, we did well getting Tonali but a LB and a RM were the absolute top priorities after that. WilliamPS
Everyone knows Almiron’s limits, as well as the FFP constraints, not worth raging over. City are the best team in the league, with top defenders, you can’t expect miracles. Almiron will have a good season, in line with his ability
Aiston
The abuse of him is fucking unreal on this forum. Completely undeserved. Yeah, quality wasn't there against the best team in the world...yet he was the only fucker trying to get involved every chance possible, making himself open for us to get an avenue going forward. Donut
Yeah he had a bad decision but overall I think the hate is overblown. He was double marked by two of the best defenders in the world all game. We didn't adapt to this.

Viana
Miggy's consistency rests in his industry and hustle. His inconsistency in output is what stops him being truly elite.
Smal
if you are getting mad at individual players, especially the ones who run about giving everything, for us losing to Man City you’re off your fucking rocker.
HaydnNUFC
He was good last week, poor in the toughest game of the season. His decision making and one footedness does hinder our attacks, mind.
nemtizz
I think it's ok to get frustrated with our players limitations
The College Dropout
Thought he was our best attacker today personally. At least for 20 minutes in the second half. Very anonymous first half. Edited August 19, 2023 by The College Dropout
Dr Jinx
He had a poor game, but he wasn’t the only one to have a brain fart when he had the ball in promising positions.

wiseman
Wouldn't even say he had a poor game, he was our main outlet against the best team in the world, guy worked non stop all game, and even when he should have nothing left in the tank, he stills finds more to keep going.
