themanupstairs
Genuinely baffled. I’m not sure if it was because I was watching on telly?? But the free kick for the third looked like one of the clearest dives I’ve seen? It was a dead rubber for us - but that foul was inexcusable. Add in the hand ball for our goal, and various ‘fouls’ given for them and the inconsistencies when we were brought down (and not given), it really makes you wonder what the ref was thinking. When are people going to wake up and realise that the PL is littered with corruption and bent refs?
samptime29
We played well overall, sloppy defending for first 2 goals but the cross for last goal was excellent - hard to defend. Lots of positives tho. Keep Rafa and Rondon and spend some decent cash - we clearly have a decent team.

Numbers
Salah Dive away, that dive for the goal for the freekick. FA refs at their best.

Guest neesy111
Never seen trouble like that in SJP in 30 years. Some scouser lower left Gallowgate got absolutely hammered, two footed jumps, repeated hooks, totally wrecked. Really bad fights after every goal After the 3rd a few of them started pushing the Newcastle fans. Quite a few arrested, after the Newcastle fans reacted and punches were thrown. Not a chance we should give them an allocation next season. How is this possible, were they sitting in the home end? Yeah. Easy, just say their fans caused trouble and violence and for safety reasons we have to prevent them from entering in future. Newcastle fans would be the same in the similar situation. BlueStar
Never seen trouble like that in SJP in 30 years. Some scouser lower left Gallowgate got absolutely hammered, two footed jumps, repeated hooks, totally a wrecked That sounds pretty horrendous, think the shit decisions probably wound some of the fans up tbh. load of then by the corner and also in the platinum club. Gallowgate by the corner flag was the worst though I was in the east stand and you could see the punches flying, people getting dragged out and spat at, stewards being pushed down steps. Dunno where the polis were. Madness
Anderson
Club knowingly sold corporate tickets to scousers and told stewards not to chuck them out, apparently.

To be fair, the Liverpool fans pushed and shoved Newcastle fans around them after they scored their goals. When told to stop they started throwing punches. nufcjb
Wonder how City feel about that dive now? Someone said it a few days ago. Seems that some of the bigger and major decisions this season have heavily favoured Liverpool as compared to City

Nope, if you're going wild in the home end then you have to accept the consequences Not going to go as far to say they deserve it, but if you're going to sit in the home end, you stifle your grin and act like a neutral or something. Anyone celebrating a goal against the home team knows what the risks are.

Stifler
Club knowingly sold corporate tickets to scousers and told stewards not to chuck them out, apparently. The seats they were in in the Milburn stand are where the ini’s and NHS etc get theirs tickets from. They would have sold them to the organisations who would have sold them to students and staff and ended up in the hands of Liverpool fans.
