Mike Ashley (former owner) (still alive)

Recommended Posts

Considering the rumours over how pally Kenyon and Ashley are, and that his deal (because he hasn't really got a pot to piss in) allows concessions for Sports Direct, I'd rather sit in apathy as I am now than get any form of utterly pointless hope where the person changes but little else does.

We need someone with the money and ambition to restructure the club from top to bottom and to buy into making it the best he can be, not another fleecing cunt just there for the TV money and 17th.

Takeover Q and A!? :mackems:

 good way to keep them busy, a bit like Barry from Eastenders in Extras reading the reviews of the sitcom.

"Bar, can you bring the reviews in"

"Why's he got them?!"

"Got to do something with his mornings hasn't he?"

The journos have a lot to answer for with this kind of shite mind. They’ve been as guilty of stirring the pot as anyone else with all the ‘takeover’ stuff this past year or two.

Happy to stir the pot but not to actually get to the bottom of the real story.

I tend not to use this word because it's Facebookariffic, but they're an absolute disgrace.

Looking at the brochure, how slow are Etheridge’s reactions when Schar is away celebrating, Perez has his arms up, their defender has turned away in disgust, and Etheridge is still mid dive?

I agree but at the same time I’d roll the dice. Whoever is next surely wouldn’t be so stubborn and difficult to get rid of.

Edwards just been on TalkSport rubbishing the rumours, pretty much saying it’s bollocks

Wonder if Press Conferences get awkward when you’ve got Craig Hope writing this as an exclusive, and another journo rubbishing it.

Best thing that could happen really. Well other than a real takeover.

Once this one plays out it will just dishearten more fans and push them away. Fakeover ploys have worked in the past but after the last one I just don’t see it working anymore.

They will have to come up with a new tactic to ease the unrest.

It won’t though. They just follow the club line that there was no proof of funds, etc then go back to sitting in silence until Brewcey throws on Carroll and they lap it up.

Even the thickest fan will read this latest shite with their eyes closed . At this point more fakeover news just adds to the cynicism we all feel .

We need to all get season tickets as soon as possible, as we can’t jeopardise the takeover with the ground having empty seats! See you all up in the massive queue at the ground. Yippee

Almost a year to the day when sky news reported Kenyon was bidding for the club. 29th September 2018. Almost a year and 3 goes at it. If this club is ever sold Kenyon won’t be involved.

Think it’s pretty clear that brochure was produced last season in an attempt by Kenyon to get investors. Why it’s been leaked now fuck knows

Could not give a flying fuck if the bid is real/fake/pathetic. Ashley has gambled himself into shit creek without a paddle. Appointing Bruce has guaranteed we are going to be one of the favourites for relegation, fans with half a brain are staying away, and the rest will eventually click on that they are watching the worst football since the Carver/Pardew days.

Ashley can sell and that will be fantastic. Or he can stay and we can watch him sink our club and his gravy boat with it.
