Happinesstan
I didn't think it would happen but he's getting to Pardew levels of hatred for me, purely on the football. As a person he's closing on the silver cunt as well. It's the exact same feeling. Hate them as managers and detest them as human beings for stealing a living as a manager. Guest
McClaren was similar level to those two but I don’t hold the same hatred for him. He was just hopeless, Pardew & Bruce are twats.
Rafalove
True. Though Pardew imo was the bigger twat of the two imo. By some distance still.
Happinesstan
Mad that ex-pros get job after job despite being absolutely garbage. Bruce, OGS, Pardew, Hughes, Parker, Monk, Tony Adams, Paul Ince, Zola, Keane... The list is fairly endless. Literally just get a job because they’ve played the game before, none of them have any sort of evidence they can actually manage a team. The thing that makes it worse with Bruce though is the fact he was actually managed by one of the best managers the Premiership has ever seen (if not THE best) and he hasn't even learned anything from him. Absolute joke Not strictly true. He knows everything that Fergie taught him. But Fergie knew Bruce's limitations and therefore never told him much. beyond being a big lump. A very effective lump [on the pitch] but that doesn't translate into management.
Sean
True. Though Pardew imo was the bigger twat of the two imo. By some distance still. This. His quotes have been Pardew-esque for a long time now, but with the passing of time people must be forgetting what an absolute cunt Pardew was (and still is). Happinesstan
Can't separate them. Both exactly the same. We just suffered Pardew longer, so the scars are deeper [particularly the self harming ones].

Guest Cheesy Beans
I enjoyed to hate Pardew though, it’s all I had. I had no hope of Ashley f***ing off while Pardew was here, nor did I have fresh memories of a world class manager.
Rafalove
still doubt after three and a half years he’ll be as bad as Pardew. Calling your fan base uneducated. Blaming losses on 17 year olds. Trying to be centre of attention at a cup final. Notting hill carnival. Obviously loads, loads more.

Guest
If there weren’t 4 horrendous teams at the bottom, I think he would be under threat. If one or two of those four turn it around then I think Ashley might sack him. As long as they continue to struggle he’ll be safe as houses though. Scotty66
Knew Pardews career would dither away after he left here. Bruce will be exactly the same. As managers they just don't have the ability to turn a club around long term and eventually will slip away to non existence. I honestly believe there are better tactical minds in non league football who will never ever get the chances Bruce gets just because they haven't made it to the top level as players. Bruce's management career is based solely on his name as a player and because he played under one of the best managers in the history of football. He has absolutely no credentials in his management career that stand out and make people think, "wow he can really do wonders for our football club" Except Ashley of course, but somehow Bruce is even fucking that up, just like Pardew did, because that's how bad they are. midds
Fully expecting Allardyce to be back in just before Xmas. Would round off the shittiest of years quite appropriately.

This is the problem when appointing grossly incompetent managers which end up costing you more in the long term. They each know they won’t get a better gig than this job, so when it invariably starts going tits up they each hang around like a stinking turd that won’t flush. huss9
mcclaren would have been fine here as a first team coach rather than a manager, with someone else in that role. bruce shouldnt be anyway near professional footballers.
Guest Cheesy Beans
At least McClaren has had some success in his managerial career. Bruce’s greatest achievement is finishing 2nd in the Championship.

Guest
He also seemed to have an idea of what he wanted, he was just shit at it. I remember being pretty optimistic after we drew 2-2 with a good Southampton team because of the football we played. With hindsight, a midfield pair of Wijnaldum & Sissoko with Perez & Thauvin either side of Mitrovic could have been effective rather than Anita & Jack fucking Colback until Shelvey arrived. Guest
And Villa of course went from mid-table in The Championship to going up. He had an attack of Grealish, Bolasie & Abraham at that level and still fucked it up.

Yeah, we were passing it around and it was clear he wanted to play that way. We also had some decent results and performances under him early on- the 6-2 win over Norwich being one, 2-0 win over Liverpool, beating Chelsea etc. It went to shit after Christmas though
huss9
that's what i mean. the more he opens his mouth, the more of an idiot he makes of himself. unfortunately the vast majority of the media/journalists (other than Hope and Gibbo) seem to be unable or unwilling to pick him up on it.
