Big Geordie
It will be Kinnear, as has been said above. No fucking way. Right? Right??!? This is Mike Ashley we are talking about, remember!
xLiaaamx
It won't be Kinnear. Ashley sacked him because he was furious about him losing Cabaye for so little

Renrub
This has disaster written all over it. Where did he pull the dwarf Wise from? It will be a similar move, no doubt.
AyeDubbleYoo
Shearer is not a bad shout you know. I’d be pretty disappointed in him tbh He'd be insane to take it TBH. That said, that applies to almost any manager.

Guest neesy111
If Shearer took a role then it would really take a sizeable hit to his reputation imo with a few fans.

olliemort
Shearer is not a bad shout you know. I’d be pretty disappointed in him tbh Shearer begged bruce not to take the job so i would be shocked. He also has a cushy number on BBC with all his mates so why would he bother

Dr Jinx
Aside from being thrown to the wolves when we went down, Shearer has shown zero desire to be a football manager. Has no coaching experience and to be honest, his recent punditry has raised serious questions about his thought process when it comes to the club, or more specifically his mate managing the club. No thanks. I’d rather look back with fondness as his goal scoring clips than grow a hatred for him through managerial failures.
Candi_Hills
The whole idea sounds like a disaster to me. Steve Bruce will be completely undermined by whomever comes in. Imagine how awkward it’ll be: “This is errr Alan / Dennis / Joe... He’s just help out... Don’t worry, I’m still the manager but you’re gonna be seeing him around training too.” Next I’m picturing that bald trainer bloke off The Office talking tactics and Brent talking over him in a bid to remain significant. Rafalove
I doubt even Mike would go back to Kinnear for a third time. My guess is Dennis Wise as D.O.F
jackyboy
Pearson I could see because of his being here previously and a known no nonsense type. Manager to the end of the season would probably be acceptable to him. I thought he did an incredible job at Watford and they would have stayed up if they hadn't sacked him

johnny36
It wont be Shearer after his comments about Lee Charnley last week. Probably end up with a Roy Evans/ Gerard Houllier scenario
