Tiresias Posted Thursday at 19:53 Share Posted Thursday at 19:53 Funny how calmer a finisher he is when he's not a striker.

Lush Vlad Posted Thursday at 19:59 Share Posted Thursday at 19:59 Maybe we take him for granted a bit at times? My boss is a Gooner and always raves about him when he watches him. Two lads in our football Whatsapp group called him MOTM before he scored. Plenty of neutrals seem to fear him now. Such a hybrid and unique player and there is nobody really like him in the game. It can seem like he’s a bit positionless or the wrong sort of game for him. But he’s just a monster. He’s everywhere.

He’s back to playing 3 positions at once. Certainly noticed him finding more space (understandable today) and offering more in an attacking sense of late. TRon Posted Thursday at 22:55 Share Posted Thursday at 22:55 MOTM for me, outstanding in every aspect of midfield play, and topped off by a truly magnificent strike. That midfield with him, Tonali and Bruno looking world class right now.
Aiston Posted Thursday at 23:09 Share Posted Thursday at 23:09 Don't think any current player gets me off more than a Joelinton goal.

All true. Also don't think he has even reached beast mode yet this season. It's an incredible story.

Novocastrian Posted yesterday at 09:55 Share Posted yesterday at 09:55 Love to see him driving forward with the ball at SJP with the crowd noise going up several notches. One of my favourite things about this current team.
Holloway Posted yesterday at 10:03 Share Posted yesterday at 10:03 pre season I was banging on to other teams fans at work about the potential of this midfield 3. It's taken a while but we are now getting more of a glimpse of the riches to be had there
Lush Vlad Posted yesterday at 10:24 Share Posted yesterday at 10:24 Did his finish take a slight nick on the way through? I’m sure they said so on comms and the flight of the ball does look a bit off. But I can’t see it. I’ve watched it and all the replays roughly 15 times and all

Lotus Posted yesterday at 10:26 Share Posted yesterday at 10:26 Very very glad he tackled sensibly after his yellow. Was a good idea to push him wide left later in the game.

sixx
If I was a PL midfielder I would really, really dread playing against a midfield of Tonali, Bruno and Joelinton.
