Spurs have been genuinely awful thus far.

It's just so typical.

After a fantastic result against the champions last week.

They were very lucky to get that result.

They keep trying to play it too narrow and far far too slow, it's infuriating.

Yes, perhaps, but you still can't knock it really.

To follow it up with this performance so far is embarrassing.

It's the sort of thing they always seem to do, though.

We deserve to be in front because, in spite of us not having had the better of the possession, we've defended with more grit and organisation and we've been more incisive in attack. Lovely work for the goal from Joelinton and Atsu.

23% possession is disturbing, as I don't think this Spurs lineup is that good at all, but as you say we've still been better going forward, with more shots in total and more on target.

Did Ritchie just kick Atsu on the floor then 🤔

I think was more of a well done for putting him off, but looked like it on first glance.

Ah right, could have just ruffled his hair or something. Ha... Fair enough if it was a playful well done. 😂

Possession means nothing man, Rafa showed it.

people going a bit overboard like, we've sat incredibly deep and defended last ditch very well but spurs have started the game without a player capable of breaking teams down when they need one

as for the goal it was a gift, we'll not see much poorer marking in areas like that this season

Why ? It happened at lot under Rafa, we had the lowest possession stats in the league and Rafa's system was right.
