Can forgive him a little bit for not getting his head up better. The bigger issue is, even if he gets a run of games I think even last year it was becoming clear injuries have taken too much from him to be effective at this level. Wilson was probably preferred for his experience, Howe trusting he would have better decision making. And well, that didn't turn out great. So now we are left with either trying to play the old, injury-ridden striker back into form or giving the minutes to the young inexperienced guy. Expand In hindsight it probably went towards costing us the cup final against Man U. They were a very ordinary side having a poor season, but we went in there with Wilson who did nothing on the day.
