Toon No9
Could rather have given Neave the minutes Wilson got today. He's one for the future and Wilson clearly isn't anymore. Respect for Wilson though for what he's done for the club in the past. Time to move on now.

Newcastle Fan
I think we are giving him the rest of the season out of respect for all the good work he's done for the club, injuries have taken their tool and his body just doesn't seem capable to be honest. tinoasprilla
Gave the ball away constantly and even looks like he’s aged 10 years. I’d much prefer seeing osula come on at least he can run

While im clearly of the opinion he needs moving on in the summer and replaced he’s barely kicked a ball this year. Have you heard of something call match fitness and sharpness? The bloke knows how to score a goal ffs

huss9
loved peak callum but surely howe can see he offers nowt as a sub. wouldnt even trust him to take the ball into the corner and run the clock down. at least osula offers us pace.
Tsunami
When you need legs up front to see out a game I can’t fathom what Eddie is thinking about by bringing Wilson on. His body is knackered. He possibly looks fine in training; he looked slow, weak and was blowing out his arse 5 minutes after coming on last night. Love the guy, thanks for the memories. Tisd09
I think it is clear Wilson is done. I know it is hard coming off the bench but he has done so before and made an impact, I would much rather mould Osula in the remaining games, at very least the kid has legs, in the end Wilson was sitting deeper than Willock. An amazing servant for us pity injuries have taken their toll.
Dr.Spaceman
10 hours ago, El Prontonise said: He's been back for almost 6 weeks now, how long you want to wait for that? People wanted to give Mitrovic 18 months, man. There's some people out there who want to see Newcastle United's growth stunted so their favourite player has 3425464 chances to impress. Dr Venkman
While he was on the pitch there were two occasions when the ball ran across the face of their goal. One from Burn’s header and another cross from the left I think. He was absolutely nowhere. That’s his only function at this point. He was never much good in general play but now he’s embarrassingly bad. If he can’t add anything to the build up then he’s only there to finish, where was he? AyeDubbleYoo
I know it's a bit heartless but I can't wait until we don't have any players that are straining every sinew just to compete in the PL. Can't really remember what it's like.
Crimson Cardigan
He hasn’t been good since he came back, but I still have a feeling he scores a crucial goal between now and the end of the season.

His body may be failing but you don’t forget how to finish. Osula still hasn’t figured that out and may never.
Mazzy
Just saw the clip of the team getting off the plane. Wilson almost biffs it coming down the stairs, he's a waking fucking time bomb, just ready to rupture a ligament at a moments notice.
