stozo
Three Newcastle related rumours in today's people. Firstly, Curbishly wants to sign Scott Parker and will offer Reo-Coker in exchange in attempt to get him. Secondly, John Carew's agents were on tyneside this week discussing a loan or a small money move to Newcastle. And finally, Liverpool will attempt to sign David Villa and if successful Newcastle will buy Peter Crouch for £7m. To be honest don't think their is that much truth in any of them but their worth a read I suppose.

Took the piss out of Madrid in the CL this year big style!! P.P.s. I'd have crouchy aswell, not a bad player...

Elephant
Valencia's president just said that Villa won't go anywhere under £100M or something like that. So good luck to Liverpool trying to sign him.
Newcastle Fan
Carew would be fantastic,Crouch i am not ready to gamble on him (yet),Reo-Coker,can't see what he will add to our team ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ Crouch for 70% of our budget?,and have just 3 million left for defenders? this will be a stupid move if it happens Reo-Coker for Parker?? impossible so just carew thank you

Guest nufc1984
Parker for Reo-Coker? No way will Parker leave in exchange for Reo-Coker. Milner singing a 4 year contract is excellent if true, I don't know much about Carew nowadays, I know he is very tall and powerful. Giles Barnes and Gareth Bale look like likely signings and very good ones, I'd be especially pleased if we manage to sign Bale as he is a very good, quick left back who can get forward, score goals and is disciplined, not one booking this season for him, Southampton have a thing with un-covering great talents.Go for it Glenn. Norwegian-Geordie
Carew would be a good signing. I would love to have him on loan until the end of this season and with an option to buy him after this season if he is good for us. But when we have signed Carew we should buy a whole new defence before we buy someone else.

Yorkie
Would like Crouch here for the right price. He's a good player that has developed at Liverpool... but he's wasted there now. He needs to play regular football, especially now that England tend to rely on him quite frequently. But Benitez has already ruled out a move, which doesn't surprise me. I know little about Carew. Why can't we just get a striker on the cheap, that actually knows this league and will just do a job for us? Someone who doesn't have to live up to anything and that doesnt have to adapt? I know there's a few people on here that rave about him, but do we have to...? *Paddies* Oh and... Parker won't go.
STM
I would love Carew here and i don't think he would trake alot of adapting either. Would play well up front with Oba.

Norwegian-Geordie
i haven't seen much of carew this season -but judged on what i've seen previously i would never go near him - waste of space imo Carew is a world-class striker on a good day, but he is shite on a bad day. This is one reason why I would like him on a loan deal before we eventually bought him. If he did well we could buy him and he played bad we wouldnt.
