Some people get so caught up on names like Rafa and Jose, when good english managers like Eddie Howe and Chris Wilder get overlooked, or even Big Sam. Football hasnt changed it's still 11 guys vs 11 guys and ultimately the game will be won by the side that wants it more. Best off sticking with Bruce who is a great man manager and knows how to set up a side to play attacking football.

Think Sir Bobby offered him the assistant role withy the promise of becoming manager when he left. Mourinho turned it down because he didn’t think Sir Bobby would ever leave.

He was already being touted as the best young manager about after their UEFA Cup win the year earlier v Celtic. Think he’d have ended up at Chelsea even had they lost to Man U.
