Not too dissimilar to Lascelles’ forcefully tackling the ball and taking a Man City player earlier.

Both were attempts to get the ball, one got it, the other didn’t. It was a yellow.

Is that the one where Lascelles slid the ball out of play?

Definitely a red, like. Was one of those where it's try to play the ball and stick one on the attacker at the same time. Got it horribly wrong.

Absolutely no need to be making that sort of challenge in that area of the pitch like that.

Son is so fucking good. He's like the diametric opposite of Almiron, every run is made with intent, every pass or shot hit with precision.

He's fantastic. Really enjoy watching him play.

Thought Robertson's was a red tbh, but thought Kane's was too and that Liverpool should have had another clear penalty.

Yeah Liverpool got the rough end of that, thought Klopp would have been raging at the final whistle, but he looked relatively philosophical sadly.

He kicks Emerson's planted leg as hard as he can with an intent to hurt him, how's that not dangerous? Kane should have been off too but doesn't mean that isn't clear as day red.

Well he clearly doesn't kick the standing leg, that's just obviously false.

True, it's milliseconds before he plants it. Doesn't make it any less serious offense though.

We played really well yesteday and if we had an actual senior striker, we would have won. It's the first time we look good against decent opposition in the whole season.

Hopefully with Ferran Torres coming in, and Fati and Bratwaithe (yes, him) coming back, we'll get enough firepower to get back in the Top 4. Despite our truly horrendous first half of the season, we're just 2 points off 4th place.

I hope Fati can remain injury free but I fear he'll just be one of those players that is constantly injured, which would be a shame because he's a serious talent

I hope so, too. FWIW, his current injury is unrelated to his knee issues (pulled hamstring).
