Dr.Spaceman
RIP - One of those annoyingly decent players who played for very average teams that we should have been all over.
nufcjb
Rip. That World Cup was special. Different, not the best but just had a special feel about it.
Disco
Didn’t realise he’d played for so many teams other than Fulham, RIP to the Wardrobe.
Yorkie
Can remember my 11-year-old brain barely being able to comprehend that Senegal upset against France. Don't think I'd even heard of Senegal at that point. Rip.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
I had a portable TV and watched him score the winner against France at dinnertime at school. No age at all. RIP.
Dinho lad
RIP. Nice, little tribute by Harry Redknapp: '"He was such a wonderful character," Redknapp told BBC Radio 5 Live. "He was fantastic for me, a great character, always happy and always had a smile on his face. He was a giant of a man. "He had no aggression in him. He looked aggressive on the pitch because he was so big, but there was nothing nasty about him. "My thoughts are with all his family."

Really enjoyed watching him in that Portsmout team with all those fantastic characters Redknapp put together.

Wallsendmag
He was a player I always wanted us to sign. Always thought he was far better than the teams he played for. Another gone way to young. RIP.
Newcastle Fan
He was a solid player, like someone said on here he was always quality but never played for a big club. Will always remember him for that goal against France, at the time France looked invincible until Senegal came out of no where to get that victory.
