TRon Posted Saturday at 18:23 Share Posted Saturday at 18:23 Said in the pre-match I hoped he turned up today. He didn't.
Menace Posted Saturday at 18:25 Share Posted Saturday at 18:25 Let him go Fulham with all of his ex Arsenal pals. £15m-£20m should do the trick. He's in bad form but he's still a handy player. Probably just needs a change of surroundings.
nufc123 Posted Saturday at 18:26 Share Posted Saturday at 18:26 Surprised this thread didnt get bumped faster. Doing himself no favours at the moment. No passion, no desire.

David Edgar Posted Saturday at 18:34 Share Posted Saturday at 18:34 Can't play a League One club every week.

Same way some people think we would get 15 for longstaff. Probably get 15 for the 2 of them

Keggy_Keagal Posted Saturday at 18:43 Share Posted Saturday at 18:43 We got £20 million for Kelly . We can get £15-20 million for little Joe.
Wallsendmag Posted Saturday at 18:52 Share Posted Saturday at 18:52 Just doesn't look interested anymore. If we want to move forward he's the sort of player we need to be moving on.

He's having a bad season but he's not entirely useless.

Tsunami Posted Saturday at 19:01 Share Posted Saturday at 19:01 He needs a run of games to be at his best; he’ll not get that here now. I don’t think today was a day for him to start & I think he only started because of the Brum game. Whatever the plan was for Willock today, it would have been dependent on Bruno & Tonali having at least some control of the midfield today. In some ways Longstaff’s harrying could have been the better option (even over Miley).
Newcastle Fan Posted Saturday at 19:01 Share Posted Saturday at 19:01 Didn't think he was too bad but the midfield balance was so off even Bruno and Tonali looked shit first half.
Crimson Cardigan Posted Saturday at 19:01 Share Posted Saturday at 19:01 I think it’s possible that the accumulation of injuries has kind of ruined him. Clearly Eddie was hoping that the goals against Brum would kickstart him and his ball carrying ability (of old) should have suited the game today on the counter, but that might be him done now. Miley sounds like he’ll be in next time judging on Howes post match comments.
Kilcline Posted Saturday at 19:08 Share Posted Saturday at 19:08 He was shit today but that's 50/50 between the tactical miscalculation and him. He has a use. A no brainer to be the PSR unlocker or the exchange offering when a club in the shit rings Get Mitchell's Badge In over the summer

So weird to dig him out, aye.
Sibierski Posted Saturday at 19:13 Share Posted Saturday at 19:13 Think the writing is on the wall for him if there’s interest around £20m mark. You’d like to think at that price point, you back ourselves to sign a squad player that has a higher ceiling, with Miley / Joelinton the LCMs.

But I wonder if his body can handle playing in an Eddie Howe team. Wouldn’t write him off just yet though.

ExiledGeordie Posted Saturday at 19:30 Share Posted Saturday at 19:30 Not sure he’s good enough to rotate in as a starter in the midfield. Seems to be better as an impact sub or winger type to use his pace. Whether that means he’ll stay at the club remains to be seen.
