It was very late in the game, the result wasn’t in doubt and apart from shaking heads in a bit of disbelief those around me had a bit of a laugh and felt for the lad. They know that their users, especially on Facebook are bots and racists. They deliberately have rules on their website that not clear because they know that the vast majority of people on there will fall foul of them. It’s far better to have users who generate advertising revenue, than it is to have a platform that is safe for people to use a free from abuse that is a quarter of their current user base. Sadly we had to call on our purples, putting unnecessary minutes in their legs because we can't rely on the squad players. Times up unfortunately. Doesn’t help with how he shows for the ball or the runs he makes. He never seems to see the easy pass or holds onto it for too long. Any technique he had in an attacking sense, has totally deserted him. No idea who’d buy him or what we’d get. But he needs a fresh start somewhere and to be playing semi-regularly.
