Guest chopey
Next seasons Premier league should have been the best ever with Pep, Jose, Klopp and the cash that will be flying around to bring in the best players. Ashley has done himself in here with both us and sports Direct. Its a crying shame that the Premier league will have Stoke, Bournemouth, WBA, Watford, Swansea, Palace, Norwich, Burnley and Brighton

bulivye
i suppose mathematically we still have a chance, but the cowards wearing the Wonga label don't want it. feel some sympathy for darlow & mitro's no coward.
SUPERTOON
Estimate 32 points. Toodle-pip to the big show. There is almost zero chance of us getting 32 points.

nufcjb
What was Leicester's record when they started to go on that run last season? How many points and games did they have?
Wullie
What was Leicester's record when they started to go on that run last season? How many points and games did they have? At this stage they were only 3 points back (with a game in hand, as we have) and had just won 2 in a row.

Varadi
We've won 7 of our last 42 league games and now need to win at least 4 from 7. We're done. Finished. It's over. Won't even be close, we'll be at least 6 points adrift by the end of the season.

Scotty66
After 31 games last season Leicester were exactly the same as us right now. 6 W, 7 D, 18 L on 25 points. However they were only 3 points away from safety with 1 game in hand, whereas we are 6 points away. We beat Southampton and Man City at home and we're back on but anything less that that and we're down. I think we all know what will happen

Possibly.............. however I wont be rushing home from work to watch WBA v Burnley on a monday night. I'm obviously just jealous but its a shame that the championship will contain a lot bigger clubs than the Premiership.
Guest Roy the Irish Magpie
10 should be the only option tbh, but I appreciated there are some brave, if not naive, souls who still cling onto some sort of hope. I wish I shared your optimism, voting 9 lads.

If this means that in future 'big' clubs don't take their present stays for granted as we have then I'm all for it objectively non-toon speaking of course. Mattoon
A firm 9 after today, there's an outside slim chance we could get out of this but it would take a massive change in approach by our "players" and I can't see that happening. It's not a 10 until it's mathematically impossible but it's as close as you can get now after that, we needed 4 points against the 2 teams directly above us, we got 1...
