toonpete1892
We'd be safe now if the officials had spotted their handball injury time winner against us .....
NG32
Need chelsea to beat gareth bale I disagree. If Chelsea beat Spurs they're gonna be sure of the Champions League spot (although not of the third one) and might go softer with Villa, especially considering the EL final. For us it's better they win instead, regardless. We need arsenal to be sniffing poppers in the last game against us...not bothered about the rest. brummie
With Arsenal having something to play for, I can't see Wigan picking up 6 points. I can see us picking up 3 which I reckon will be enough. This weekend, you beat QPR. In a week's time, Wigan go to the Emirates and lose. Hey ho, Wigan are gone.
Skeletor
The league will be so much better for dumping Wigan.

Mistle17
Still a 9. I don't have any faith in us/Pardew, and feel uneasy about Wigans game at Arsenal. Having said that, tonight was delightful and such a relief!

Guest
If we beat QPR aren't we safe regardless of what else happens? Nope. If Villa are beaten by a few against Chelsea on the Saturday, it's pretty much.

themanupstairs
We'd be safe now if the officials had spotted their handball injury time winner against us ..... After the shambles of the last few weeks, we probably didn't deserve this miracle tonight. However, considering the number of moronic refereeing decisions gone against us, it just about evens out now.

Decky
I really don't understand people feeling nervous about Arsenal vs Wigan, but yet think the writing is on the wall for defeat at SJP vs Arsenal. Wigan's match against Arsenal will be their 3rd in one week, possibly on the back of two defeats one being in a cup final.

Decky
feel uneasy about Wigans game at Arsenal. He wasn't the only one saying similar tonight too. It's a defeat all day for Wigan imo.
Gallowgate Toon
I don't think we'll lose to Arsenal. I think we'll get 2 from the next 2 now. I was more sure we'd have won on Sunday if we'd have been in the relegation zone, but you know what Pardew will do now...

LoveItIfWeBeatU
Arsenal need to win against Wigan to help them in their bid to secure a Champions League spot. The fact that Arsenal last played on the 4th and play Wigan on the 14th should mean they are well rested. Wigan will have played 4 games between the 4th and the 14th. Surely Arsenal can beat them? Teasy
Remaining fixtures for the sides still in some trouble: Newcastle: QPR (a) Arsenal (h) Wigan: Arsenal (a) Aston Villa (h) Norwich: West Brom (h) Man City (a) Sunderland: Southamption (h) Tottenham (a) Southampton: Sunderland (a) Stoke (h) Aston Villa: Chelsea (a) Wigan (h) Fulham: Liverpool (h) Swansea (a)
brummie
Point of order. We're not still in trouble. We're 100/1 with some bookies to go down now. I am as pessimistic as the next man, but there's no chance we're going down after this evening.
