Still believe Wilson, ASM, Almiron & Willock will pull the team through to secure another season in the top flight. Hope I'm wrong though.

You'd think so.

Solid 7, we have the worst manager in the league and an injury to one of our best players makes it very difficult for us to score goals. The only thing that can keep this team afloat with this manager is confidence and that’s going to completely ebb away after another loss or two

Don't think we'll get relegated, we've got goals in the team and the odd match winning performance from ASM. It will just be another shit season slogging around the bottom of the division while stinking up the league with our horrible football.

Remember how bad it got last season and how far ahead of the drop zone we were?

By all means check out but don't worry yourselves about relegation. A win at some point in the next two or three games and the bad start will be forgotten.

Won’t get that win. That’s the difference this season.

Bruce’s teams work on confidence. They always seem to have a spate of decent results before being knocked back down again. Not sure how this team is feeling with the best squad being comfortably beaten so far. Next game massive.

Just can't see where the wins come from with the current setup. Even if it's a lean season at the bottom we'd  need 8 wins for a squeeky bum end to the season which doesn't look likely. If we have big injuries to asm and Wilson who are both highly prone then we're fucked especially if we can't  pick up points when both are fit.

For me we needed points on the board from the 1st 3, you'd hope for at least a win and at least 3pts. If we don't get that next game the pressure is already on and it's not something this squad, manager or club copes well with.

We had the same pant-shitting hysteria last season, when objectively, once Jones came in we never really looked in any kind of danger. That's not to say there aren't worrying signs, but it's just too early to read into them.

It'd be fun to watch Bruce squirm, but we just aren't that lucky.

Maybe we should bring Jones in again.

I agree that we'll be fine but in the Jones point; W2 D3 L4 was the record after his arrival, including a sequence of an absolutely ghastly stalemate at West Brom, an undeserved 'get out jail' last-minute draw at home to Villa, then that hammering at Brighton who previously couldn't buy a goal. He obviously made a difference but I think his influence has been overstated; it was the talent of Willock and ASM that got us out of the mire (the latter of whom turned that Burnley game around, and after which we finally found our rhythm).
