It's a bit different when you know that balls just been kicked by him and that's his leg coming back down after kicking it, with the opponent running into him, rather than him travelling to the right. I suppose if you get sent off for anything that can be dangerous, fair enough. But think that makes a lot of kicks when the ball is in the air potentially dangerous. I agree the timing had some culpability in the play, but it's still somewhat reckless and he's lucky the leg didn't break. Has to be a red once it goes to VAR and the ref has viewed it.
