PIF potentially going to make a significant investment as a sponsor of The R&A to allow The Open to offer a bigger purse. They've really upended the world of golf. Yasir may get that R&A membership after all.

basically using insider info about businesses/companies/anything basically that he has prior knowledge of happening before it’s public to gain financially on the stock market. Quite a serious charge.

Read it as he personally didn’t use it but passed info to friends, family, love interests, and employees to benefit.

Well he is also alleged to have loaned money to said people, said invest in this, and then got loan back i'm guessing with some interest so probably does count as personally using it

I hope we’re lobbying the PL for the fit and proper persons test to be applied to these corrupt cunts now.

The same argument we had with MBS applies. He hasn’t been convicted of anything yet.

I’m sure he has already transferred ownership of the club to a family trust, but if he hasn’t and he is convicted, he’ll just do that.

MBS didn’t need to be convicted in order to fail the FPP test

The current ticketing fiasco is the first real dropped bollock from the new regime, IMHO.

Not just the lack of clarity on ticket sales, but the lack of communication.

Takes 5 mins to write a "sorry for the delay etc" message and post it via the club socials so we have some insight into what's happening.

At the moment no-one has a clue what membership actually means and how / when we'll be able to buy tickets.

It's a shambles.

Yeah - we are 11 days away from first home game of season and no announcement on ticket release, etc - usually they put each game on sale about 3 weeks in advance.

misjudged the public also on the pricing for the friendlies.

would have been close to sold out if previous prices had been continued. gives those kids/families a chance who have no hope affording/getting matchday or season tickets

The ticketing staff have never known what to do. It’s the same old thing year in year out. They leave things until the last minute, then scramble around. No forward planning or anything.

No one seem to be in charge of them.

When you consider the demand at the moment, it's laughable that there could be more than 20,000 empty seats for these friendlies, and a missed opportunity all round. There was 41 and 47,000 for Atalanta/Bilbao last season.

Add to that the utter pisstake that is memberships and an inability for fans to select their seats for games; not to mention the exploitation of customer loyalty by way of not specifying how memberships work until after they've been purchased.

Whoever is in charge of ticketing policy honestly wants jettisoned. Joke decisions.
