I think it's safe to make an assumption that Anderson or Minteh may not have been sold if there was strong interest in any other players like Targett, Lascelles, Longstaff etc. We may have had to sell one of them to bridge the PSR gap, but there wasn't the interest. It wouldn't have necessarily been about reputational damage, she literally couldn't afford to keep her stake, that's the most obvious reason why she left.
