Armstrong just as weak and incapable at PL level as he was when he left then.

I thought he was alright tbh, was really tidy with the ball, and there was a few times he played it around us.

He should be thanking his lucky stars we got a point from that not moaning about the pen, the thick fat cunt.

Is he moaning on about it?  It's as stonewall as they come.

Only saw bits and pieces but that first half was as bad as anything we’ve seen under Bruce and Saints fans should be furious they didn’t have the game wrapped up by the break. Second half was pretty even as we tried to attack but to score that late and not win is pathetic.

Ritchie absolutely shocking again. Roasted on the regular.

Him and Murphy are absolutely rotten, huge part of why we look like even more of a bag of shit than we usually do under Bruce.

Tbf to them they’re not defenders and are being asked to do jobs they’re not capable of. Neither can defend albeit Murphy at least has pace to recover, Ritchie neither has the pace or the fitness to play the role.

You could probably get away with it on one wing but have both exposed is crackers.

Murphy for the first Southampton goal was absolutely laughable, basically stands there and watches Redmond saunter past him. He doesn't even have the instincts of a defender.

Ritchie I felt a bit sorry for today in that Maxi tends to wander over to the right, so all day there's a massive yawning chasm in front of him and nobody to try pick out with a ball down the line.

The whole thing is a lopsided disjointed mess and of course no matter how crap some of the players are, the main culprit is the tin of Spam in a tracksuit waddling around the technical area.

Murphy is a winger, and he still has some pace, so it would at least make some sort of sense if he was bombing on and overlapping. Ritchie just doesn't make much sense at either end of the pitch these days. He can ping a decent delivery if he ever gets up the pitch far enough.

I was at the match today (dad's season ticket was going spare as he's off to see Olly Murs for some reason) and I felt masochistic. Absolutely rotten performance and I was stunned to hear several "we want Bruce out" chants and boos whenever the ball went near him. Unfortunately it was from a minority of the crowd and most people just seemed happy to lap this shite up.

The players were blowing out of their arse after 70 mins. Ritchie's corners are abysmal. We are starting this season like the last playing too deep. Southampton were just passing it around Longstaff in the middle. We were shocking today, absolutely stole a draw IMO.
