Hopefully he can leverage his US connections to get some tasty sponsorships which can’t be accused of being related party.

Maybe get the cameras in ala Wrexham and build up US interest. Paint a picture of us being interlopers challenging the established order who have rigged the system against us but we still won (Carabao cup).

Try to exploit the Saudi market, maybe NUFC branded Cafes/Shisha bars with live screenings. Serve food and make it family friendly as well as halal compliant. Think the time difference is plus 3hrs gmt so weekend matches are doable though midweek matches would finish quite late.

Just spitballing some ideas but hopefully he can bring in the cash.

He is described as "dripping with ambition", "demands urgency" and "the perfect choice" for a "challenger club like Newcastle".

GEED UP

You know who else is 'dripping with ambition'?

Eddie Hitler and Richie Rich on their way to the lap dancing club.

That's who.

We've already had the cameras in, once you do it then they won't come back for a while.

That was quite short not a whole season like others plus we could look at other streamers like Netflix/Disney instead of Amazon.

“I’m never going to go against the club… I think the inner working of a football club, it’s delicate. I’m not necessarily one of those managers who will sit here and say I want everything to be open. I think (about) privacy…and when you’re dealing with players, there are certain things that for me should never escape the walls of a training ground.

**But, as I say, I can’t go against the club, and I’ll always support the club in whatever venture they're trying to do, as long as it doesn’t overstep the mark.”**

I’m not so sure on that though. We may get more for our money in currency conversations, however your wages are bigger in general money terms. Currently the Ontario minimum wage is $17.20 an hour, going up to $17.60 an hour next month. Things may seem more expensive, but it sort of evens itself out.

Am I missing something or is that significantly less than our minimum wage?

So er........who are the Knicks? And why is everyone being weird about them?

NBA's New York Knickerbockers. Home court at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan. Massive media market. Courtside seats populated by Spike Lee and sundry other celebrities. Championships: 2 -- the last in 1973.

Seems he’s ambitious and possibly quite ruthless. Which is just what we need imo.

I would’ve backed him but I would like to see someone more ambitious than Ross Wilson come in as SD. Whoever it is, their role needs to be made clear and they need to fit the club personality wise.
