Utter utter shit against a poor side once again. Where all the apologists who said judge him on the start of next season, last season btw?

Its been going like this forever now.

I think he is done after this season. No matter the FFP/PSR problems and all that, our play has not improved (the opposite), we are easy to play against, offer no threat. Players are being played out of position.

He is a dead man walking now.

he should of been gutted even if we managed to fluke the 3 points today. The performance was awful and reminiscent of 90% of the games we’ve played this season. We can’t create chances and we gift golden opportunities to the opposition.

It's been more than this season to be fair.

He really looked visibly sickened though. I think he knows he is on the end game precipice. We all desperately want to see him succeed and be the guy that wins us something. Hour glass seems visibly running now.

His refusal to use his substitutes in situations like that drives me up the fucking wall, like. Even just to eat the clock up a bit and break the game up.

He's normally pretty good at injury time subs tbf. I think he just probably got too caught up with his nerves and lost sight of the bigger picture.

We regularly absolutely reek and I see no discernible attempts to try and change it or rectify it outside of putting different pegs in different holes.

Even if we held on, that was an absolutely pitiful showing in possession.

Wont say dead man walking but there are so many question marks over us now.

Yea, long season to go. But I don't see how our play is going to improve radically. We lack talent upfront and from midfield, but we also don't have a system now that creates chances.

We've been debating all season if we should play Gordon or Barnes on the left wing and we end up playing neither of them there  Baffling

We play Joelinton as a left wing back marking Munoz, who has never scored a Premier League goal,  and he should have scored a hat trick

When it’s the same problems week in week out I’d say it’s mainly on him. No shot on target against a palace side is pretty bad.

Didn't even have one off target either according to BBC Sport.

Yeah, I just can't see him turning this around, it's been one step forward and two back for over a year now. I think the only way he will survive is if we somehow win a cup, otherwise he'll be gone when we inevitably fail to qualify for Europe.

It's hard to quantity how poor we've been for large parts of this season. Even in our worst performances over the last few years, I can't remember ever feeling like we were this toothless and unlikely to score.

We have absolutely no aim when we attack whatsoever. No patterns of play.

I have a feeling we'll see a different performance on Wednesday, raising it against a big club again. But it's very apparent at this point that something isn't right. The performances in this type of game are unsustainable.

Same. First time under Howe im thinking this is not fixable.

Aye. It's been the same story every week. He's got a full squad to choose from, we're approaching December and 90% of the performances have been dross. I don't want him out but I can understand if the club decides to go a different way in the summer - PS who even makes that decision since Eales is leaving?

This is really confusing me as well, Joey doesn’t have what it takes to be a PL attacker. That’s been proven, that’s why he was playing in midfield.

Seeing Gordon moved but not to accommodate Barnes is very hard to grasp.
