U don’t just sack a manager after few poor results/ performances ffs, has my backing till the end of the season at least.
in 2 weeks we could have 6 points against Leicester and Ipswich and in a semi final

And if my auntie had a cock she’d be my uncle. We’ve been shit for over a year and are getting worse.

I'm with him until the end of the season myself but I'd struggle to gain confidence from beating two newly promoted teams when we're struggling against nearly everyone else.

Not allowed to do that!

Mass hysteria only please... 😅

I said at the end of last season that if we were in the bottom half and struggling halfway through this season I’d be looking to push Howe out.

This has come to pass, but he still should have a bit of time offered.  If we’re out of both cups by the end of January and if league performances don’t improve is likely when I’ll join the cacophony.

We haven’t looked like a well-managed side for quite some time now - performances against the big boys at home are meaningless, as the players self-motivate for them.

That second half was the final straw for me. The lack of half time management, in game management and substitutions was

horrific. As I said earlier Frank took the piss out of him there. This is the same thing happening for a year now and this season we have seen just about every player regress. The

owners have a big couple of months coming up.

He's been sold up the river by PSR but his style doesn't suit a side that is this jaded. We need to be firing on all cylinders for his intense style and we look stale as fuck. You could argue that he's no longer getting the best out of Bruno, Gordon, Tonali and the likes. All big money signings.

Could well be 13th by the end of the day. Away from is horrendous. Faltering more and more at home.

Don't want him gone but it doesn't look good.

The problem isn't that it has been a few poor results/performances. We have been so awful away for a long time. We still have the same issues that we had 3 years ago. Its not just about this year. Its about the results regardless. He got to have his "injuries" excuse last year. This year he has nothing. The system isnt working. The players are for some reason only motivating themselves to play top 6. There is a change needed.

If we do have money for January and Howe is still heavily involved in transfers. Then I’m not sure I’d trust him with those decisions or would I want ‘Howe’ players bought in.

:weep:

If he wasn't already I think Mitchell and his team will be firmly in the driving seat for deciding who comes in. Realistically the club and Mitchells role is setting a consistent style and vision throughout the club so whomever comes in as a player or manager they shouldn't need to adjust and play X bought in january shouldn't be a Howe player but a Newcastle player that will also fit the new manager.

His substitutions have always been his biggest flaw. It was quite clear at half time Joelinton needed replacing but yet again he waited until the 60th minute when we where behind.

It’s not a bad squad to be fair, certainly better than it’s showing at the moment.

Pretty clear it's not cut out for playing with the intensity we need week in week out though and the RW issue has left us massively lacking up top.

It's partly Howe's fault, he has a good eye for a player for a manager but we should have brought someone like Mitchell in years ago.

Brentford, Brighton, Fulham, Forrest  and Bournemouth should not be above us in the table. All of them apart from Bournemouth with a game in hand. It's not good enough. What can you actually blame it on?

We can't have 2 seasons in a row out of Europe if you want to be one of the big teams. You can't just have 1 UCL season and then dip. People are no longer taking us seriously and it is very worrying.

We seemed to change what we're doing to accommodate Gordon, fist half I was quite satisfied, second half we've forced Barnes out to the right, he's then not affecting the game and is hauled off for Miggy, at this point Howe has now used every winger while also introduces Wilson into the game and keeping Isak on?

We could simply have left Barnes on the left introducing Wilson, for Murphy, and instructed Isak to play and cut in from the right, didn't understand complications using everyone, and I've said it before, it seems Gordon has priority where Eddie's choices are made, it's bizarre, because he's playing average all season, and has become lazy out of possession.

It is easy to say it because the players are not good enough, but who from Brentford would get in to our best eleven? Or from Bournemouth, Fulham or Forest?

You would be lucky to have 2 or 3 from each team getting in to our best eleven, yet they are going out and playing decent football because their managers have them motivated and sending them out with a game plan.

W5 D5 L5 is not good enough especially when we have pretty much all of the better sides to play away in the final 23 games. The likes of Fulham and Brentford away clearly aren't easy games, but when you have the 'big 6', Villa, Brighton etc. you simply can't be getting 0 points from Fulham A, Brentford A, West Ham H, or Brighton H.
