Hopefully it's just the club taking every available precaution. Stick him in the Nuffield for a bit, back good as new before too long.

I can't think of anyone on the planet less suited to a prolonged hospital stay mind [emoji38]

Edwards saying: Newcastle manager understood to be on road to recovery. Had been feeling unwell for days and taken into hospital on Friday night. Unclear when he will return to work.

Oof, last thing you'd expect to read about someone seemingly so fit and healthy. Hopefully it's precautionary and he's better soon. Needs to take as much time off as he needs tbh, same as any of our players you've got to put their health first and not rush back.

Worth remembering that when you’re a VIP and have top private healthcare you might end up being treated in hospital just to speed up your recovery or improve your hydration etc.

Obvs we don’t know but I’m hoping it’s that kind of situation.

The vast majority of private patients are treated in a normal hospital.

I've just heard about this, hope he's ok. Nothing heart related or anything life threatening. Hopefully he's just feeling a bit run down.

Get well soon Eddie, love and thoughts to his family.

Wish him all the best for a speedy recovery. Shit myself when Livescore sent the notification through that he was hospitalised.
