Decky Posted Saturday at 23:23 Share Posted Saturday at 23:23 Maybe he's just fucking wrecked after drinking like fuck for the last month. Could probably do with a few days in hospital myself for a full body MOT after we won that cup.

I'm assuming it's a virus, and the after-effects can linger. He gives so much of himself to his work, and perhaps he needs a proper break.
NSG Posted Sunday at 06:26 Share Posted Sunday at 06:26 The “bantz” over why he is in hospital is pretty grim like, especially when you don’t know what is going on. For example, my mate was fit as a fiddle 2 months ago, went to the GP in first week of February with shortness of breath. A couple of days later he was told he had stage 4 stomach cancer which has spread to his lungs and lymph nodes. I’m up for a bit of light heartedness at most things in life, but health is one of the few exceptions. Maybe I’m just a boring old man now.
David Edgar Posted Sunday at 06:38 Share Posted Sunday at 06:38 I think you're naturally sensitive given the awful diagnosis your friend has received. Many would be in your position. Probably best just avoiding the thread as there is absolutely zero malice in what is being posted. I hope your mate is doing as well as he can. He was fit as a fiddle before that too. So it certainly can be horrible, even for younger people. Whatever the problem is, hope Eddie makes a swift and full recovery. Story goes he's not been handling the stress of the job well. Supposedly he's been taking some heavy meds to help deal with it, but he's had a reaction and it's blown out his Shatner's Bassoon. He thinks he's in 1933 now. Edited Sunday at 07:22 by PauloGeordio
