Ikon
I like the sound of a guy doing some actual work to improve things.
Newcastle Fan
I much prefer having him over Emery, he seems like he the right understanding and character for what we require right now, hopefully he'll get the full backing of the fans as he's good quite the job ahead of him. Superior Acuña
One thing about Howe over Emery is that if he does well in the first couple of years and keeps progressing, you could see him here for a good while. Emery I couldn't see here more than a couple of years.

He does come across as a bit of a workaholic (in a good way obviously), similar to Rafa in that sense.

Colos Short and Curlies
The media are going to struggle here. Young English manager who they have bigged up in the past. A NUFC fan base that is fully behind a Southern manager Saudi Arabia and us being evil incarnate
Hanshithispantz
It's mad how I've went from being non plussed to essentially believing he's the second coming of Christ over the course of a few days. Feel a bit silly tbh, he seems a perfect fit. Edited November 8, 2021 by Hanshithispantz
Vinny Green Balls
As I've said before, something seems so right about having a young, charismatic manager who can grow with an ambitious club. Maybe it's too much taking me back to the early 90's and the start of the Keegan era. Still, I'm sold on this experiment.

That's what I thought but the more I read of him he seems to legitimately be the long term solution. He's football mad, he'll have learned a lot with his time at Bournemouth. Forward thinking and will keep up with contemporary ideas in the game.
