TRon
Ironic that everyone was worried Howe wouldn't know how to coach defence, and we've not looked so solid at the back since Rafa was here. Playing arguably better football as well. Howe is phenomenal, there's just no getting round it.
54
Biggest thing I've noticed over the last few games is that, while I'm slightly nervous, I'm not a wreck, and infarct comfortable in the knowledge that at the very least we'll be competitive, and the players will put in a shift, hell even when we go behind I don't immediately think it's game over. That's all down to Howe and his management.
Lazarus
Ive been hugely impressed with how hes getting his ideas across - really didnt think it was possible with some of the players we have. Its took a while but i think he now knows who he can reply on - who can be trusted and who will be in next seasons squad from the current bunch. I deffo think were safe though Im sure there will be some blips between now and the end of the season. And im fascinated as to how hes gonna fit Bruno into our midfield. Gaztoon
Tindell never shuts up either.. before the game he was into the lads and same coming out after the half.. love seeing it
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Slow start, but aside from making us look more organised, the biggest credit I can give him is that he/Tindall have got the players playing for him/them. We looked absolutely doomed and the squad looked utterly disinterested. Everything pointed to 2009 and 2016 all over again. They’re clearly listening and responding to what he’s trying to do. GWN
The way we play reminds me of when we got “good” under Rafa , I expected a performance win lose or draw . Im there with EH , in a very short time .
Happinesstan
Unbeaten in the last 6 PL games and I don't think we've started the same eleven players, consecutively.
huss9
he's too attacking and cant organise a defence. completely wrong choice for a team battling relegation. ... so th experts said.

toontownman
Astute signings. Its a shitter trippier is out but Targett and Burn look tremendous and transform our defence. We aren't there yet but what a job Howe and co. Have done so far. Incredible turn around in mentality and how players look. We have likeable people that give everything for the shirt right now. Long may that continue.

NWMag
Absolutely love the guy, believe in him and his methods 100% and believe he is capable of taking us to where the owners want to be

Which were to Chelsea, Arsenal, Leicester, Liverpool and Man City. Only the Chelsea and Man City losses were at SJP and Chelsea was pre Howe. We'd have a couple more wins had small things went our way, too. And of those we lost, I'd say Leicester was the only game where a bollock was dropped. They were saying on Pod on the Tyne that he went to have a pop at the fourth official last week but used it as an excuse to listen in to the Villa dug out. He then went back over to Howe and told him what Villa were planning on doing. Love it.
STM
I love seeing players wasting time through injury but could Emil Krafth try and remain on the pitch next time. Dafty could have cost us the game. Fraser, Joelinton, Shelvey and Burn were all in contention this week for SHOTM, but the winner goes to Chris Wood for his great impression of Puss In Boots towards Kurt Zouma. Yup, was pissed at that match, score line flattered Leicester and we didn’t look particularly bothered.

It was beautiful to see. There is no way Lascelles is getting back in ahead of either of those two (if they are fit) We can see what he’s doing. He’s bit by bit improving the process.. now with this new foundation to build from at the back, we need to work on quicker transitions through the midfield. That’s where Bruno will come in when the manager thinks the time is right. And when Wilson is back.. (or someone new in the summer) it will change things again as there’s no way teams we’re playing against can play a high line or we’ll be in on them repeatedly. Spot on. The calmness on the ball at the back is wonderful to see.

Dr Jinx
Oh Eddie definitely has a ruthless streak. And certainly isn’t a pushover either, not throwing Bruno in straight away is a perfect example.. spending 40 million on a player must be a huge pressure in terms of team selection.
