In a nutshell Howe mentions that loyalty is a dangerous thing and he picks the team that he thinks is best suited to with the game based on what he sees on training. But I don't think this iteration at left-back is considerably better than what Manquillo might be able to offer to that point Burn must play every week if he is fit. Burn is also a weak point defensively 1v1. Considerably worse than Trippier who I always thought was poor defensively 1v1 prior to joining. I was about to reply half way through reading it then I read your last paragraph and there was no point as that was exactly what I was going to say. i think tripps going forward has been poor recently as had his deliveries, it’s great this set up got us this far but maybe time to freshen up a little.
