Class today, best performance of the season from us.

More importantly, we look to have found a change up in terms of our setup. Midfield has looked stagnant for a long time and now we have the Joe and Joe combo on the left and the switch of Tonali playing in the middle of the three man midfield and Bruno pushed forward. Notice that Tonali went central when he came on today.

Cracking result and best I've felt about us in a while :)

Always turns it around when his back is to the wall. Love the bloke. A lot more like our old horrible bastard selves today.

It was, I was confident (albeit slightly nervous too) that we would see it out!

Feels like a turning point week, Howe has made a few changes which we have been crying out for, and we have reaped the rewards.

Tbf, it took a brave man to take out Tonali and Kelly after midweek but he did it. And he was right.

Definitely a vintage Howe type performance today.

Interesting and effective mix of going back to old ways and introducing new elements.

Big Joe, Little Joe combination down the left.  Longstaff in midfield.  No Tonali. dark arts. Aggressive.  First to the ball.

But also more of a 442 shape off the ball worked a lot better. Allowed us to press higher. Less pressing from Isak but Joe’s pressing so high helps us.

Looked so so good today man. Beautiful balance throughout the team.

Eddie please keep the Joes together and let Gordon and Tino continue to build on their relationship down the right.

Very exciting changes.

Our shape looked a lot better suited to the players we had out there.

Without wanting to be overly negative, as we were obviously excellent today, this is the kind of game we generally show up in. I'll be more convinced we've turned the corner this season if we can put in good performances and pick up positive results over the next three matches.

It's no good putting on a colossal showing like today if we get rolled over at Forest and Palace. This result needs to kick start our season.
