don’t really think he bears any responsibility for the second half to be honest. There is a lack of leadership on the field and the players were so complacent. Whole half was just passing the ball to Forest and jogging around

If it's the players then he needs to learn how to change things quicker and more effectively.

His job to sort out the players mind.

We need to learn how to actually kill games off instead of inviting wave after wave of pressure. Eddie needs to learn to make more subs as well, if only to break up the opposition's patterns of play.

Quite ludicrous how bad that second half was, particularly with how good the first was. I get needing to conserve energy but again, there's a better way to do that. Positive subs to get fresh legs on and keep the momentum going, not dawdling on the ball and inviting increasing pressure. Really can't believe what we just saw tbh, as bad a half of football as we've served up under Howe.

That was one of the most unprofessional half of football that I've seen us play, and like mentioned above we've had a few of them this season, they say the second half is the manager's half eh?

He needs to study what's happening, it's not a lack of quality players or bench that is the problem.

Seriously

What could a manager possibly say or do to make a team play like that?

Too many football manager experts thinking you can remotely turn a dial and magic happens

To be fair we’ve had a fair few second halves like that this season - maybe not quite as bad as that. It’s bizarre.

Last season we threw away so many points by having second halves like that. It was so frustrating. We/he should know better than to just sit back and try to defend for 20-45 minutes.

You can’t have watched us much then.

But you can't substitute Bruno.  It's against most people's opinion on here.  Untouchable.  😉

We've taken the lead in 24 matches this season, in all competitions. We've only failed to win three of those fixtures (Palace, Liverpool, Fulham).

I don't think there's a fundamental issue with us holding a lead. Today, and in others, we achieved it by virtue of being so far in front to begin with. Other times it's through steely defensive performances.

Feels very bog standard to lament a missing player - particularly one who hasn't been great this season - but we missed Big Joe today. His short passing has been off this season but I think he holds it up and takes the pressure off well enough for us to ultimately be in credit when he's in the side. We drop the points without him at Spurs, for instance, imo.

He’s the manager. It’s his job to motivate the team. He’s the o my one to problem. Especially as it happens repeatedly.
